Zack Snyder’s Animated Netflix Series, Twilight of the Gods, Has a Release Date
Twilight of the Gods by Zack Snyder has an official release date.
Twilight of the Gods is now anticipated to launch on Netflix in the fall of 2024, according to Variety. The exact release date is still pending announcement.
Regarding Twilight of the Gods, what is known?
Twilight of the Gods is a Netflix original anime series that is based in the universe of Norse mythology. Variety revealed in 2019 that Snyder was executive producing and co-creating the show.
Sylvia Hoeks, Stuart Martin, Pilou Asbaek, John Noble, Paterson Joseph, Rahul Kohli, Jamie Clayton, Kristopher Hivju, Peter Stormare, Jamie Chung, Lauren Cohan, and Corey Stoll are among the actors who narrate in Twilight of the Gods.
In December 2023, Snyder discussed Twilight of the Gods with Collider. “Basically, it’s this: in a small Viking village, there is a king and his queen who wish to get married,” Snyder explained. As a result of something that happens to them during their wedding, Sigrid—the future bride and a giant’s child—begins an insane quest for vengeance. She gathers a group of people, including a dwarf and a seer, and they all join forces to create a band with the sole goal of tracking down and defeating a deity. It’s both a quest and a tale of retribution. I’ve loved working through and with Sigrid, a gorgeous, very Scandinavian, chilly yet passionate character, since she’s just so cool. Sylvia Hoeks voices her.
Additionally, he said that because “that’s fun,” there will be “a lot of sex” in the series.
Twilight of the Gods’ first season will consist of eight episodes.
The series was produced by Jay Olivia, Eric Carrasco, and Snyder; the animation is from Xilam Animation.
Conversely, Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver, the newest film from Snyder, was just made accessible for streaming on Netflix this past weekend.
